CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBLITY

CODE GT - CODE OF CONDUCT

This Code of Conduct sets forth the principles, expectations, requirements, and responsibilities that guide CODE GT, our employees, suppliers, and business partners in conducting business ethically and in compliance with applicable laws. The areas covered in this Code are integral to ensuring that our operations are conducted responsibly, safely, and with integrity.

HUMAN RIGHTS STATEMENT

Our Commitment to Human Rights

We uphold internationally recognized human rights and treat all individuals with respect and dignity. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards human rights violations and expect the same commitment from our employees, partners, and suppliers.

We do not engage in modern slavery, forced labor, or human trafficking, and ensure our employees are hired lawfully and have the freedom to leave the company. We protect young workers under 18 from harmful tasks and collaborate with partners to prevent human rights violations in our supply chains.

MODERN SLAVERY

Modern Slavery and Forced Labor

We have a zero-tolerance policy against all forms of modern slavery, including forced, bonded, or compulsory labor, and human trafficking. All of our employees are legally hired, have voluntarily chosen their employment, and have the freedom to leave the company in accordance with their employment contract and the law. We actively collaborate with our clients, recruitment agencies, business partners, and suppliers to prevent, identify, and report any human rights violations within our supply chains.

CHILD LABOUR

"Child labor steals their childhood, let them dream, not work."

We strictly oppose and prohibit any form of child labor and the exploitation of children in any capacity. We do not employ individuals who have not completed compulsory education or who are below the legal minimum working age as defined by applicable laws. Young workers (under 18) are protected from tasks that could cause physical, mental, or moral harm. We collaborate closely with our clients, recruitment agencies, business partners, and suppliers to prevent and report any human rights violations, particularly those affecting children, within our supply chains.

NON-DISCRIMINATION, NON-HARASSMENT AND FAIR TREATMENT

"Respect all, harass none—fair treatment for everyone, always."

WE BELIEVE THAT EVERY INDIVIDUAL DESERVES TO BE TREATED WITH DIGNITY AND RESPECT, REGARDLESS OF THEIR PERSONAL AND CULTURAL CHARACTERISTICS. AS A RESULT, WE PROVIDE EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES TO ALL EMPLOYEES AND CANDIDATES BASED SOLELY ON THEIR KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND COMPETENCIES.
WE ALSO ENSURE THAT ALL PROMOTIONS WITHIN THE COMPANY AND SUPPLIER SELECTION PROCESSES ARE FREE FROM BIAS AND BASED ON MERIT. OUR COMPANY IS COMMITTED TO CREATING A HARASSMENT-FREE ENVIRONMENT, WHERE ALL EMPLOYEES FEEL SAFE AND VALUED. WE DO NOT TOLERATE ANY FORM OF VERBAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL, PHYSICAL, OR SEXUAL HARASSMENT, AND WE WILL TAKE SWIFT ACTION TO ADDRESS ANY INCIDENTS THAT MAY OCCUR.

FREEDOM OF ASSOCIATION AND COLLECTIVE BARGAINING

"Together we stand, united we thrive—freedom to associate, power to negotiate."

ALL EMPLOYEES HAVE THE RIGHT TO FORM, JOIN, OR BE REPRESENTED BY A LABOR UNION TO ADVOCATE FOR THEIR INTERESTS AND TO ENGAGE IN COLLECTIVE BARGAINING, AS PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. WE EQUALLY RESPECT THE CHOICE OF EMPLOYEES WHO DECIDE NOT TO PARTICIPATE IN A LABOR UNION. IN REGIONS WHERE LABOR UNIONS ARE RESTRICTED OR NOT PERMITTED, WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE OUR EMPLOYEES TO FREELY AND OPENLY COMMUNICATE THEIR IDEAS AND CONCERNS ABOUT WORKING CONDITIONS DIRECTLY WITH THE MANAGEMENT TEAM. WE ARE COMMITTED TO ENSURING THAT THIS DIALOGUE CAN OCCUR WITHOUT FEAR OF RETALIATION OR JOB LOSS.

WORKING HOURS, LEAVE AND COMPENSATION

"Fair Hours, Rightful Leave, And Compensation That Respects Your Work."

We consistently respect and comply with all applicable laws, employment contracts, and collective bargaining agreements concerning compensation, benefits, working hours, and rest periods. This includes adherence to regulations governing overtime, annual leave, sick leave, parental leave, and any other relevant leave entitlements. We are dedicated to ensuring that all employees are fairly compensated and receive the benefits they are entitled to, in full compliance with legal and contractual obligations.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

"Safe work, healthy life—protecting every worker, every day."

At CODE GT, we are deeply committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all our employees, contractors, and visitors. Recognizing the risks inherent in the electrical construction industry, we implement rigorous safety protocols designed to prevent work-related injuries, illnesses, and incidents. We comply fully with all applicable occupational health and safety (OHS) laws, regulations, and collective agreements. Our policies are regularly reviewed and updated to maintain the highest safety standards. Employees are encouraged to participate actively in our safety initiatives, contributing to a culture of shared responsibility. Key safety measures include regular inspections and maintenance of machinery and electrical systems, provision and enforcement of personal protective equipment (PPE), and safe management of hazardous chemicals. We have clear emergency procedures, including evacuation plans and fire safety measures, to ensure preparedness. We are dedicated to the continuous improvement of our safety management system, incorporating feedback and new technologies to enhance workplace safety. By fostering open communication and empowering our employees to report potential hazards, we aim to create a work environment where safety is integral to everything we do.

ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARDS

"Preserve the planet, secure the future—sustainable practices for a better tomorrow."

At CODE GT, we are committed to minimizing our environmental impact through responsible management. Sustainability is at the core of our operations, and we focus on reducing our ecological footprint in key areas:
Energy & Emissions: Reducing energy use and greenhouse gas emissions with energy-efficient technologies.
Water Management: Monitoring water consumption and ensuring it doesn’t affect quality or availability.
Air Quality: Implementing measures to minimize air pollution and meet air quality standards.
Resource & Waste Management: Prioritizing sustainable resource use and reducing waste through recycling, reuse, and responsible disposal.
We continuously assess and improve our practices, ensuring sustainability is embedded in every project and decision.

RESPONSIBLE CHEMICAL MANAGEMENT

"Chemicals with care—protecting lives and the planet."

At CODE GT, we are committed to the responsible management of chemicals, including hazardous substances, across all our operations. We have established processes to identify potentially hazardous substances in the chemical products and materials we use, ensuring that they are handled, transported, stored, recycled, and disposed of safely.

For suppliers, compliance with specific standards is essential. Substances included in products or services delivered to [Company Name] must meet the requirements outlined in the applicable industry standards. We require full disclosure of all substances used in products, reported through recognized systems like the International Material Data System (IMDS) or any equivalent tool.

This policy underscores our commitment to safety, environmental protection, and adherence to industry best practices in chemical management.
